Our primary directive is to meet the unique needs of your child, realizing that a child’s self worth is dependent upon an understanding of the world in which we live. Our focus is on promoting a child’s self worth, a child’s desire to be unique, a child’s physical abilities, a child’s emotional security, a child’s social acceptance, and a child’s intellectual development. Each child is encouraged to participate in activities through a variety of self-selected and group oriented functions, with respect to children’s choices. Our large classrooms are filled with natural light and arranged to meet the chronological age level requirements from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. Child to teacher ratio is maintained for an optimal learning experience. Each lead teacher is degreed with a background in early childhood education, and all teachers are required to complete annual continuing education training. They are also CPR and First Aid Certified.

Curriculum n. 1. The courses of study offered by an educational institution
At Elaine Rosi Academy for Children, our Curriculum is more than the sum total of what we teach. It is also how we teach it. We emphasize literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, and computer learning, with cultural experiences in music and movement, dramatic play, art, Spanish and Chinese.
Elaine Rosi Academy proudly utilizes The Creative Curriculum to shape how we teach. Creative Curriculum focuses on the relationship between an individual child and their caregiver, and the four areas of development, which are social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language.
