At Seaside our multi-age developmentally appropriate classrooms give children the opportunity to learn from those older than themselves and also to assist younger children- to be both leaders and learners. Our activities are child-centered promoting cooperation self-esteem responsibility and a positive attitude toward learning.
A days journey at Seaside School involves a balance of group and individual activities of free choice and guided exploration of indoor and outdoor play and of active and restful periods. Our knowledge of child development and positive teaching methods enables us to see each student as unique and on an individualized learning journey. We take our responsibility and commitment to each of our families very seriously and consider it a privilege to be a part of their educational experience!
