The purpose of the Pecan Street Preschool is to provide children ages 2 to Pre-K with an atmosphere of Christian love that is conducive to creative play and exploration of the child’s world. It is our goal to develop an enthusiastic attitude toward learning and we desire to help each child become aware of God’s love and in doing so help them know what a special person he or she is through that love.

Pecan Street Preschool offers a curriculum that is based on the philosophy that children learn through active involvement in their environment. Learning through play is an important aspect of our program. In all classes teachers provide activities and equipment which are developmentally appropriate and help children grow and learn at their own pace. The daily schedule consists of individual and group activities music outdoor play lunch story time and rest time.
