Grace Lutheran Preschool

Grace Lutheran Preschool has been providing nurturing play-based education to preschoolers for more than 25 years. Committed to a warm and supportive learning environment Grace Lutheran Preschool is fully accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs and is licensed by the State of California. The children in our preschool are surrounded by a Christian atmosphere of respect and loving appreciation for each person and for the wonders of Gods world.

The school is open to all children of the community on a non-discriminatory basis. Children of all races and creeds are welcome.

Our caring and experienced teachers plan activities that allow the children to pursue their own play as well as to enjoy group activities and social interaction with others of the same age. We seek to provide a friendly place where children feel comfortable make new friends and share and learn and think in an atmosphere conducive to Christian living and learning in real life situations. We believe that parents are our partners in education and it is appropriate for them to participate in the classroom on a rotational basis.

The staff help children to:

• become aware of and interested in the world about them and to appreciate the wonders of Gods creation and His love for us
• appreciate themselves and others as unique and valuable worthy of respect from both children and adults
• develop awareness of the feelings of others and the ability to play and work together; to learn that cooperation is treating friends with kindness; and to manifest some degree of self-control and self-discipline
