Our mission at A Little Slice of Heaven Learning Academy is to nurture the whole child in areas of physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development. This will be achieved through providing a variety of activities that are developmentally appropriate and recognizes the individual needs and differences of children. Through Christian principles and teacher-assisted and directed activities, children are encouraged to be independent thinkers and life-long learners.

Our teachers and staff are guided by Life way’s Wee Learn bible-based curriculum,for ages Nursery to K-3.Our K-4’s and kindergarten students are taught using the Abeka’s bible based curriculum. We pride ourselves on a low student to teacher ratio. Most classes have one teacher and one teachers assistant with a maximum of 10 students.
Our teachers develop age-appropriate activities that introduce and strengthen academic and social skills.
In addition to the basics, we offer students a range of gross motor and creative opportunities including weekly music classes by Kindermusik,Tot Fitness,Girl/Boy Scouts, and Multi-cultural classes. We strive to include enrichment activities that extend our students knowledge and understanding of the world outside the classroom. Each year, our older students take a field trip to a working farm, a post office, a fire station, and other local places of interest.
We are also committed to parent education. For interested parents, we offer a number of seminars throughout the year to help you better understand and support your childrens development.
