At Inge Lake, our philosophy incorporates the whole child. We focus on preparing children for school emotionally, physically and academically. Socialization is a very strong part of our curriculum. Teaching children how to work together with their peers, the concept of sharing and communication are all an integral part of our core curriculum. From a physical aspect, we focus on helping develop coordination and balance with our safe, enclosed play areas, with room for running, jumping and free-style play.

In our pre-school program, we guide 3 and 4-year old children to get ready for Kindergarten, by engaging children with creative, hands-on projects, science experiments and games. The program helps children develop their social and motor skills. Through play and classroom time, children learn to explore, discover and discuss the world around them. Critical thinking skills are developing at this age: language, reasoning, problem solving and creativity.
Our outdoor play time continues throughout the year. Weather permitting, the children play outside on our specially designed playground for children at their age level.
