Grand Street Settlement at 80 Pitt Street

Grand Street Settlement has offered quality early childhood services for Lower East Side children and families for more than three decades. Its Head Start Program was established in the 1960s to serve three- and four-year-olds from disadvantaged families. Programs now include Daycare Early Head Start Head Start and Universal Pre-Kindergarten. Together they offer an intensive and comprehensive continuum of child-centered services for newborns to six-year-olds and an array of support services for parents and families. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only
