At Little Bear Daycare we use the Preschool Enrichment Program which uses the ‘Developmentally Appropriate Practice’ curriculum. The Centers goal is for each child to develop the skills for positive success in this educational program and future experiences. Cognitive social emotional language literacy and physical development domains are the foundation for this education program. These domains are evident in the classroom environment and weekly lesson plans.
The center provides preschool classes for children whose parents are interested in preschool only. Children ages 4 and 5 that will enter kindergarten the following school year attend on Monday Wednesday and Friday. Children ages 3 and 4 attend classes Tuesday and Thursday. Sessions are conducted from 8:30-11:30 AM. Children enrolled in the daycare will also participate in the enrichment program by attending sessions in the preschool classroom.
