We strive for the development of fine and gross motor skills. We offer a great deal of physical play (outdoors and indoors).
Additionally, we offer enrichment in music and reading. Our goal is to teach sharing and caring for others, and to instill in the children a positive attitude toward school and an excitement for learning new things. The current enrollment in the Nursery School is 60 children. There are 2 classrooms of 4-year olds, 2 classrooms of 3-year olds and 1 class room of 2 1/2-year olds. Each classroom has a Lead Teacher and an aide. Both the staff and Nursery School are State Certified.
One of our goals is to keep the lines of communication open with parents and care-givers. We accomplish this through daily contact, monthly newsletters, conferences, a parents’ night in the Fall and special programs for parents and children during the year.
