At Plantation Child Care and Development Center our goal is to offer an exceptional early childhood program for your child to learn and explore. With this in mind we designed our new center to provide an appropriate learning environment for children. Each classroom has furniture and equipment for the specific age group. The layout of each classroom was designed to provide for active quiet and messy areas to enhance learning and development. All rooms were measured to provide adequate space for each child. Our facility went a step beyond others by designing Learning Rooms which focus on activities to enhance development. Each classroom follows the Creative Curriculum which provides your child with activities that are appropriate to their age group.

Our center uses the Creative Curriculum. We chose this curriculum because of its approach to learning. Each program is based on the philosophy that children learn best through hands-on activities that address the needs of the whole child. The curriculum comes with materials that address all aspects of development: social emotional cognitive and physical. There is a mix of teacher-facilitated and child-initiated activities. Each classroom has a curriculum appropriate for their age group.
