ABC International Montessori is an independent Montessori school located in West Bloomington, a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. ABC Montessori School (Primary) was established in 1973. International Montessori Academy Inc. (Elementary) was established in 1981.
Our school has its own Montessori designed school building. The school accommodates 100 primary and elementary children. We have a diverse cultural environment with staff and students from 17 different nationalities. Our staff are AMI Montessori-trained. Each classroom has a Montessori -trained director or directress and a teacher assistant.

ABC International Montessori Academy introduces children to the joy of learning. Our classrooms are organized into five distinct areas of the Montessori environment:

4. Math and
5. Cultural subjects (geography, science, music, art, dance).
Children have freedom of movement – they choose the activity and set the pace. The teacher’s task is to stimulate interest – to keep the fires burning.
