Noah’s Ark exists to partner with parents in the care and education of their children ages 2 3 & 4 while giving children an introduction to the love of God and a solid sense of self-worth.

We believe that a sense of self-worth and a knowledge of the love of Jesus are as important for children as their care and education. When children feel good about themselves they are more likely to be productive and higher achievers. Any staff member’s role is to enable encourage and facilitate the development of self-worth and teach the love of God to children in their care. This is done particularly through daily instruction of Bible stories the verbal praise of children the encouragement of their efforts and a consistent and positive dialog between staff members and children.

Noah’s Ark Christian Preschool believes that the early years of learning are very important to a child’s academic and social development in addition to their emotional and spiritual growth. The inborn desire to learn is intense and children take joy in learning new concepts. Their curiosity is seldom satisfied and their determination to succeed is often limitless.
Therefore the staff encourages children to continue to be enthusiastic learners creating a classroom that is challenging interesting positive and fun. However we believe that even though children are capable of much doesn’t mean they should learn everything that they are capable of learning. With this in mind the curriculum is appropriately designed to the age groups it serves and is balanced between meeting a child’s needs and preparing them for the next stage of development. Teacher’s plan each day with purpose to include a language rich environment structured activities creative activities character training free choice play time outdoor play time and other events that enrich a child’s daily schedule. This creates an environment that provides a child opportunity to experience the world around him and make a contribution to it through his creations discoveries and participation in it.
