The Children’s Corner offers a unique child care experience in that it is located at Moravian Manor Retirement Community. The center is open to the greater-Lititz community caring for infants toddlers and preschool children ranging in age from six weeks to five years old.
The Children’s Corner has been in operation since 1986. It is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Children enrolled in the programfor full or partial daysare nurtured in a safe stimulating environment where they receive:
Nutritious hot meals (breakfast lunch and snacks)
Language and creative development
Hands-on discovery in a natural setting

At The Children’s Corner children will be in a safe healthy nurturing and stimulating enrivonment. Each child is an individual and the child care setting will accommodate and plan for these differences. Children benefit from a core of trained professional staff assisted by volunteers. Parents are a very important part of the child care process and are encouraged to be active participants in their child’s daily care. Moravian Manor its residents employees and the children will all benefit from joint responsibility in the child care center. The Children’s Corner will meet or exceed the regulations of the PA Department of Welfare and the program will meet the standards of the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs.
