We believe that the students family is the principal influence on total development.

We believe that trust and the establishment of a sincere relationship with students and families is critical for learning to take place. We believe that parents should be encouraged to participate in all aspects of the program from planning to implementation to evaluation. Parents will be given the opportunity to utilize their skills in the classroom as paid staff when positions for which they are qualified become available. We believe that every student is an individual and every individual is unique. The program will provide for the particular needs of every enrolled student. We believe that providing various experiences of multi-cultural interest for students, parents and staff will expand their knowledge, increase their self-confidence and self-image and encourage their acceptance of the cultures of others. We believe that promoting a good beginning for each student and fostering good relations between parents/guardians and the Head Start program and staff is necessary for success.
