The purpose and philosophy of Al-Furqan Academy is to please Allah (The Almighty) and to approach all issues with the guidance of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). In addition it is the vision of the Islamic Center of Northeast Florida and Al-Furqan Academy to enhance the lives of all children educationally spiritually and emotionally. InshaAllah (God willing) Al-Furqan Academy will:
Provide an Islamic environment that is conducive to learning for all students in an academically challenging program. Provide a comprehensive program which benefits our students educational physical social cognitive and emotional needs within the parameters of Islamic guidance enabling students to seek knowledge and success in this life and the Hereafter. Provide a staff that is qualified competent and flexible enough to meet the needs of all students and who continuously upgrade their skills by attending various professional development workshops and courses. To prepare all students with understanding and practicing the ideals of Islam so that they may become active articulate and productive members of the world community.
