Student are accepted once they turn 18 months old. Toddlers and preschoolers at the Al-Hadi Preschool thrive in a happy cheerful environment while learning socialization skills. Pretend play story time painting and free play make cognitive and motor development lots of fun and help prepare students for more formal learning environments. Children grow into unique and confident individuals through their interactions with our loving qualified and dedicated teachers – the backbone of our program. All lead teachers are certified as Child Development Associates (CDA) by the National Association For The Education of Young Children. Student/Teacher ratios exceed the requirements of Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services.

The Preschool program offers the following part-time and full-time schedules:
Academic day 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Extended day 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
All day 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
A typical day at Al-Hadi Preschool :
Drop off free play playground time circle time instructional activities indoor playground time lunch nap snack story time free play pick up.

All preschool teachers and assistants are certified and trained in CPR and First Aid. Classroom sizes vary according to the age of the children ( 8 students to 30 students). Each classroom has a monthly lesson plan that is theme based and details learning activities for that month. Classrooms have learning centers such as Art Library Manipulatives Pretend Play Building Science Computer etc. The Saxon Phonics and Mathematics Curriculum for Preschool is used for the 4 year-olds. Preschool students also receive daily instruction in the Arabic Language and the memorization of the Holy Quran (with native Arabic speaking teachers). The children have a daily schedule that includes centers circle time / math meeting outdoor and indoor play (gross motor activities) lunch and snack nap and activity times. The focus of the program is to prepare children for Kindergarten.
