Happy Hearts Children’s Center provides a nurturing and enriching environment for children aged six-weeks through five years. We are located at Centreville and West Ox Roads in Herndon, VA.
We are a smaller Center who values the importance of individualized learning. Our student groups are intimately sized so that all children enrolled within our program benefit from one-on-one time from their teachers.
Our daily programs are taught by an experienced and professional staff who
value the individuality of each and every child.

We realize that the beginning years of a child’s life are the most important years. Without a doubt, the years from birth to kindergarten comprise the most extraordinary period of development in a person’s lifetime. Young children learn quite a bit through independent exploration; however, they need guidance from the critical eye of an adult. Keeping that in mind, we strive to provide your child with an atmosphere rich in exploration and learning with the careful guidance of trained individuals.
Our bright, spacious, colorful classrooms are designed to encourage exploration and interaction among children. We strive for this exploration to better develop your child’s cognitive skills. Our planned activities throughout the day are designed to improve your child’s motor skills. We hope interaction with others will teach your children better social skills and make them realize tolerance from a young age, that people are different—- not better, not worse, just different. All these skills will be emphasized in a loving and caring environment.
We stand behind the philosophy that children grow through different phases of development. While we believe this to be true for each individual child, we also believe that the rate of progress varies from child to child.
Happy Hearts understands the importance of choosing the perfect home away from home for your child, and the many apprehensions that come with this difficult decision. Parents’ comfort in their child’s second home is one of our most important concerns. We strive to provide an atmosphere and learning style that give working parents the peace of mind and confidence that their child is in very capable hands.
