CDS Citrus Early Head Start

Children between 6 weeks of age and five years old enrolled in the program receive a free early education to prepare them for kindergarten. During the school year community members clubs and civic groups donate new or gently used childrens books for the library. At the end of the school year each child in the Head Start Program is given books to take home. This exercise encourages parents to continuing reading through out the summer.
