The Goddard School

Welcome to The Goddard School located on Pond Road in Freehold conveniently located behind Michael’s and Staples in the Pond Road Shopping Plaza on Route 9 North (two miles north of the Freehold Mall) by East Freehold Road and Craig Road. We service Freehold, Manalapan, Colts Neck and Marlboro Township areas.

Please stop by and visit our school anytime during regular school hours. Weekend appointments are also accommodated by request. We are currently accepting enrollment for children from six weeks old to Kindergarten. We also offer before- and after-school programs as well as enrichment programs containing curricula to assist children attending other schools.

We operate a family-owned school with an experienced, loving faculty which will make a positive difference in your childs life. The owners are on-site daily while the school is operating. The Director of curriculum has an extensive and varied background in early childhood education and is there daily to meet with parents as needed. The early childhood years are a period of significant growth and development in a childs life. At Goddard, we are dedicated to meeting the emotional, social, cognitive and physical needs of young children at each stage of their development. We recognize that every child is unique, and we strive to create a warm, caring environment that nurtures each childs self-esteem, confidence, imagination and desire to learn. Our school’s faculty consists of experienced teachers trained in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education or Child Development who provide children with carefully planned educational and developmental programs that meet the needs of the whole child. Our faculty members also regularly attend Goddard University classes.

Our beautiful building has been designed to provide a safe, healthy and stimulating environment. Our interior doors are equipped with Fingersafe door hinge guards that prevent children’s fingers from being pinched at the hinged end of doors. All wall corners are equipped with “corner guards” to prevent injuries. Two separate playgrounds have been designed to challenge and delight your child at every age, and are equipped with safe and fun equipment, as well as a Pour and Play surface which uniquely acts as a safe fall zone for the children. A beautiful white vinyl fence equipped with gate alarms encloses both areas of the playground. Our school is also protected by a state-of-the-art closed circuit TV surveillance system.
