Greenbrier

The Greenbrier School was established in 1983 by two teachers who loved children. As their partnership grew and developed the school expanded its reach throughout the community.
In 1992 St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church acquired the school as part of their outreach ministry to young children renaming it St. Matthew’s Greenbrier School.
We provide a variety of spiritually-based experiences within a Christian classroom environment. There is also a planned “Godly Play” session each week for children three and older that encourages them to participate in bible stories and reinforces appropriate moral behaviors.
We use developmentally appropriate curriculum resources; hire staff and provide programs to help children grow and develop into the people God wants them to be.
We foster children’s natural desire to discover and learn by providing opportunities in which they can joyously explore their world during each hour they’re in our care.
