The Child Study Center (CSC) provides diagnosis and treatment services to children who have or are at risk for developmental disabilities and related behavioral and emotional problems so that these children may achieve their full potential.
Founded in 1962 the CSC is a not-for-profit 501©(3) organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. Joyce Elizabeth Mauk MD President/CEO/Medical Director directs the CSC and reports to the CSC Board of Directors.
The Center is located at 1300 West Lancaster near downtown Fort Worth in a multipurpose facility that includes medical and psychological services. The Center also contains a clinic for developmental analysis and treatment of premature infants and an educational facility for children with special needs (The Jane Justin School) and an intensive program for Behavioral Analysis in Autism.
