At KIDS DEPOT we believe that each child is a unique and special individual. We strive to provide an enriched productive environment conducive to the development of the whole child physical emotional social and intellectual. Our role is to enhance the work being done by the parents and family.
Our program is based on the beliefs that:

1. The childs early years are critical to the remainder of his or her development. 2. Young children have a developmental need for group association with peers. 3. Play is the natural occupation of the child. It is the means of investigating the environment and alleviating stress. Its emphasis is on process not product thus allowing for success and building of self-esteem. 4. Children develop in predictable stages within an individual time frame. Each child must be allowed to proceed at his or her own rate. 5. Teachers and caregivers should provide guidance and nurturing support and guard against emotional pressure. 6. Parent involvement and communication are crucial to the success of the program. 7. Ultimately we must provide the young child with a happy unhurried and developmentally appropriate experience. We must allow the child to be a child.
