LUTHERAN SCHOOLS SHARE AND CARE. Lutheran schools have used the words “share and care” to emphasize their concern for the whole child, namely, for each child’s spiritual as well as mental, emotional, and physical well-being. St. Paul’s Lutheran School is uniquely qualified to assist parents with carrying out their God-given responsibilities of giving their children a thorough Christian training as well as a quality academic education.

LUTHERAN SCHOOLS SHARE. Acts 1:8- “You shall be My witnesses…” Basic in Lutheran schools is the concern that “the one thing needful,” the teachings of the Holy Bible , be shared and used as God’s instrument for the nurturing and guidance of His children. In St. Paul’s Lutheran School, we use prayer, give Christian witness, worship, use Christian counseling, and study the Bible. The truth of God’s Almighty Word is not only brought forth in Religion classes, but His influence and direction is seen in the study of other subjects such as Science, Health, and Social Studies. God is seen as Creator of the Universe and Source of all knowledge. God’s Law, and more importantly, the Gospel, are used as essential elements in our Christian discipline and training.

LUTHERAN SCHOOLS CARE. I John 4:7- “Beloved, let us love one another for love is of God.” St. Paul’s Lutheran School strives to be a place of caring. Students are expected to care about and help others not only in school but also in the community and the world. Students, staff, and parents are expected to accept each other as fellow believers in Christ and to view everyone as God’s special creatures to be loved, valued, and respected. Because we are sinful beings, Christian teachers, as well as students and parents, find themselves at times acting in uncaring ways and therefore, are in need of correction, repentance, forgiveness, and also the assurance that God and others are ready to help us in living the Christian life. In Lutheran Schools, we have Jesus’ example as a constant reminder of unselfish love and caring.
