The YWCA offers child development programs at 14 sites throughout the city including 2 private sites and all five YWCA branches. A structured but flexible curriculum encourages infants toddlers and preschoolers to achieve optimum mental social and physical development.
While each center has its own personality all offer a warm and loving environment that focuses on creativity exploration and age-appropriate activities. Caregivers appreciate the individual nature of each child and provide a nurturing setting that is safe wholesome and fun for your child.
The YWCA Child Development Centers pay close attention to each child’s nutritional needs as well. A tasty and nutritious breakfast is offered each morning and a balanced lunch and snack later in the day.
All centers are fully licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and provide service as Texas Rising Star vendors by the Texas Workforce Commission. All staff members attend regular training sessions to better serve the needs of the children and their families.
