Since opening our doors in September of 1990 Robin’s Nest Daycare and Preschool has been committed to providing a nurturing safe environment where all children have exposure to a wide variety of outlets for expression and development. We believe that all children are individuals and learn and develop at their own pace. To support this Robin’s Nest utilized a Multi-Sensory approach to education. The Multi-Sensory approach is sensitive to the face that each child learns through different styles and spp0eds some visually some auditory and other kinesthetically. By employing all three learning styles we provide children the necessary tools to achieve educational success.

Our philosophy is that each student learns at his or her own pace and our curriculum is designed to support that. Our most important goal is that we encourage our students to be active creative and enthusiastic learners. Students are taught not only educationally but also on a holistic spectrum that addresses their social emotional physical and cognitive needs. We implement sensory integration into all of our programs in order to give our students the tools needed to organize the sensory information that they use in their daily lives and this allows them to learn at a more in-depth level.
