Sunshine Academy

Sunshine Academy has been serving Denvers families since 2004. It offers a full-year, full-day program and provides before- and after-school programs for school-aged children. The center is licensed by the state and enrolled with the Denver Preschool Program (DPP). In addition, it accepts Colorado Child Care Assistance (CCAP) payments and private pay. Sunshine Academy is for families, as well as for children ages 12 months to 8 years. Parents can drop off their children as early as 6:00 am and pick them up as late as 6:00 pm. Breakfast, lunch and snack are served daily through a partnership with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Sunshine Academy believes that parents are the most important people in their childs education. The center implements Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP) in its curriculumpractices which fit the stage and age of each childs individual needs. Children learn through playafter all, a childs play is a childs work!
