Montessori on the Mall is a full service Montessori school conveniently located in Downtown Denver, serving families with children six weeks through six years. Our school offers a strong Montessori approach to learning, an active Parent Partnership Group, workshops for parents, secure entrances, an on-site outdoor playground and indoor gross motor space.
Infants and Toddlers (6 weeks 2 years) are encouraged to explore in a rich, safe learning environment with materials from the natural world, everyday household objects, and materials chosen for their design and sensory qualities. Infant and Toddler teachers form a close relationship with families and nurture the development of each child, based in observation of his or her unique characteristics.
In the Mini (2 3 years) programs, each child is nurtured as a unique individual. The beautiful and orderly space provided a gentle support for active learning. The Mini program blends practical life, manipulative play, sensorial experiences, math, language, art, and music, while encouraging children in the toilet learning process.
The Primary children (3 6 years) are encouraged to learn individually, at their own developmental pace, in a carefully prepared environment. Children are exposed to a rich and highly sequential curriculum of academic subject domains including reading, mathematics, geometry, science, and cultural studies at early ages, according to their individual abilities.
