BCLC offers three (3) all-day Kindergarten classes as well as before & after school care for BCLC Kindergarteners. Our Kindergarten Program is licensed through the Ohio Department of Human Services. The Kindergarten teachers are certified in education. We use phonics as well as whole language. Using both programs enables children to learn to read with phonics as well as learn to read by sight words. We use teacher-directed activities along with child-directed activities (i.e. workbook groups centers) to enhance a child’s reading writing math science and social studies.
