Abraham Lincoln Centre - King Day Care Center

With funding by the City of Chicago Department of Family and Support Services and Chicago Public School Community Partnership Programs, the Abraham Lincoln Centre operates several full- and half-day Head Start and Early Head Start programs that teach 3- to 5-year-old children the skills they need to succeed in school and later in life. Our program teaches children through structured play, classroom instruction, hands-on activities and group interaction, and enhances their social/emotional, physical and cognitive development. We give preschoolers the opportunity to demonstrate and practice decision-making and self-help skills in a safe, supportive environment.
