The philosophy of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Preschool is to provide a ministry that serves children and their parents in an environment of Christian love while reinforcing their spiritual, social, mental, and physical development. Life is a developmental process with each stage built upon or related to the previous ones. We believe that the early years of a childs life are crucial for developing faith, learning trust, self-esteem and confidence. These are best learned through relationships with other children and adults who are sensitive, qualified, and loving. We believe these qualities of trust, self-esteem, faith, and confidence are essential to the Christian faith and important in any chosen religion. We will prayerfully work to be a program where children may grow both tall and wise and will know God and others love them. Even though we are appreciative of other religions preferences, we provide a Christian environment in our beliefs, orientation, and procedures.
