The Children’s Place is a preschool / Child Development Center inclusive to all children ages 3 months to 6 years, including children with special and developmental needs. Our program, which is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, offers your child a social, academic, and recreational beginning, while at the same time allowing him/her to be recognized as an individual.
Our Winter Session (September to mid June) offers a complete developmentally appropriate curriculum. Its goal is to introduce the basic learning skills that are needed for their future schooling through the art of play. Our program meets all State requirements with an extra emphasis on Math, Phonics, and Reading, and is based on development through hands-on activities.
Enhancing our educational curriculum is Music Together, a unique program designed to nurture your child’s music development. We also offer several literature programs, including stories, poems, and rhymes and in our art program the child has the opportunity to handle different medias such as clay, crayons, paints, paste, wire, and blunt scissors.
