Partners In Parenting Child Development Center

This program provides comprehensive support services to pregnant and parenting teens in school and their families (including the teen parents, their infants and/or toddlers, and the teens parents/guardians). It is a secondary, pregnancy prevention initiative which puts an emphasis on educational progress, reproductive health, positive parenting, and life skills development. PIP after-school programming includes: weekly parenting groups addressing asset building as it relates to positive parenting, infant, toddler development and the teen parent/child relationship. Other components of PIP are weekly life skills sessions focusing on: building assets surrounding personal growth and development; individual counseling; bimonthly Parent/Guardian events; and, a Co-Parenting Initiative for our adolescent families who reside together or independently.
