RCMA creates and fosters opportunities for the children of migrant and other low-income rural families to maximize the choices in their lives by:

*Involving parents in the educational process and in public policy decisions affecting their children and families.
*Increasing public awareness of the lifestyle of migrant and seasonal farm workers.
*Providing opportunities and encouraging the professional development of staff hired from the communities served.
