Each child approaches learning differently. Polaris recognizes the fact that children bring to school a wide range of developmental levels backgrounds experiences and needs. This is why rise & shine provides play based learning centers that enrich each childs cognitive language social spiritual physical and creative development.
These centers allow the children opportunities to explore manipulate and experiment with things while interacting with other children and teachers. All activities and material are age appropriate and relevant to the childs development. When you look into our classroom you will see playing with a purpose. The centers and activities are all planned around themes that will use Bible art math science social studies reading writing dramatic play puppets blocks music cooking large motor and group time to provide an effective learning environment.
