Gordon Thompson Learning Center early childhood programs provide for the continuous progress of children from the time they enter the Center until they depart. The children’s needs are the basis for the classroom learning experience whether they begin at six weeks of age or during their preschool years. These experiences promote the development of the whole child including physical social emotional and cognitive based on their development age.
The daily schedule is consistent yet flexible and provides children with the opportunity and security not only to learn basic living and educational skills but also to develop a healthy self concept.
We believe the greatest gift we can give your child is a sense of worth and self-esteem. Children who think well of themselves will be able to go through life’s experiences making appropriate decisions as well as experience success by allowing him/her to progress at their own pace and by choosing Developmentally Appropriate Practices as developed & described by the National Association for Education of Young Children.
