Valley View Child Development Center EISD

One of the goals of the Eanes Independent School district is to establish an educational program that will enable all students to be successful in school. Studies have shown that children must attend school every day for optimal success.

Each student’s absence from school causes a financial loss to the EISD in the amount of $35 per student per day. As a Chapter 41 District EISD must pay money back to the state when our average daily attendance drops. It is important both educationally and financially that each student be present every day unless the student is ill or there are other extenuating circumstances. Vacations or other discretionary activities should not be scheduled on school days.
