We the teaching staff think of every child as a unique individual; we assess each child and develop an Personalized Education Plan to work on both strengths
and areas of need. We work on all aspects of development: social emotional intellectual gross motor fine motor and physical. The day is designed for fun
learning experiences; children learn by exploring experiments trying failing and trying again. Children will learn both indoors and out. Creativity is valued. We will be touching tasting looking at listening to and smelling all kinds of things; because children learn through their senses. Children spend some of their time in group activities and some working on individual projects. Much of the time children play with small groups of children; in this way they learn about cooperating teamwork and problem solving. Children make a lot of choices in the classroom; He/she chooses the learning center (blocks art music literacy dramatic play table games etc.) to play in how long to stay there and where to go next. We keep all the materials children need at their level so they can get what they need when the need it. We stay busy all day: children play hard work hard and sleep hard. We maintain low child-staff ratios and children are supervised at all times by a highly-qualified caring staff.
