Della Terra Montessori School celebrates the inquisitive and expressive learner in each child. Our spacious and bright classrooms are carefully prepared to engage and nurture the whole child. Children are surrounded by developmentally appropriate materials that encourage discovery and foster their natural love of learning. Nestled within huge oak and pecan trees adjacent to a large horse farm our school feels as if it is in the country yet is conveniently located near Lakeline Mall in south Cedar Park. Della Terra also offers enrichment programs that complement the Montessori principles that guide our curriculum. These include music foreign languages nature studies fine art sports camps organic gardening and food preparation. DTMS currently accepts toilet trained children between the ages of three and six years old.

Our school was founded by an AMS certified primary teacher and is guided by the approach originally developed by Maria Montessori over 100 years ago. Read more about the Montessori method here.

The name Della Terra roughly translates to “From the Earth” in Maria Montessori’s native language of Italian.
