Bright Horizons Family Center

Celebrating diversity amongst staff and families; providing whole child learning experiences; and partnering with parents as their childs expert defines high quality at Bright Horizons Family Center. Opened May 2000 Bright Horizons Family Center is nestled in an industrial area of North Austin. Our location offers an accessible commute for families living and/or working in the Austin and surrounding areas. To accommodate the work/life balance needs of our families the center is open for full-time and part-time enrollment Monday-Friday 6:30 am-6:30 pm. Our NAEYC accredited center offers early education and care for children six weeks to five years of age. The teaching teams in our infant nurseries provide nurturing individualized care. Our playful toddler homebases support growth and development through the five senses. The transition/twos program encourages the progression of self-help skills and socialization. Child choice environments and teacher directed projects offer preschool children developmentally appropriate learning opportunities. The structure of our pre-kindergarten program equips children with reading and writing skills math and science awareness and different forms of creative expression. We also offer extended learning opportunities for children through in-house enrichment programs including art music dance computer and Spanish. Learning in each program is made visible for parents through documentation panels child portfolios and individualized daily reports. The home-like appeal and welcoming environment of Bright Horizons Family Center supports families both new and growing.
