The Akron Area YMCA is the largest provider of non-governmental child care in the community with seven full-time Early Care and Education Centers and more than 30 before and after school sites. Our state-licensed staff supports our mission to put Christian principals into practice through programs that build healthy spirit mind and body for all and instill the YMCA character traits of caring honesty respect responsibility and faith into all children at our Child Care programs.
