Tippecanoe Child Care Wabash Landing

Tippecanoe Child Care Wabash Landing opened
its doors in September of 2002 as the result of
collaboration between Greater Lafayette Public
Transportation Corporation (CityBus) and Tippecanoe
County Child Care Inc. (TCCC). Grants received by
both organizations from a number of sources created
the first TCCC center in West Lafayette. This center
was built close to the downtown bus depot to allow
parents that need to use the buses for transportation
convenient access to child care fulfilling CityBuss
goal. It is licensed to serve 78 children ages 6 weeks
through 6 years opening 16 slots for infants and
toddlers which are in short supply in this
community. Therefore it served TCCCs goals as
well. Tippecanoe Child Care Wabash Landing is
located in a newly redeveloped retail and residential
area in the hub of the county and is a source of pride
for TCCC as well as CityBus and the Greater
Lafayette and West Lafayette communities.
