YMCA Cross Island SACC at PS 135

P.S. 135’s goal is to assure mutual respect for all members of the school community including students teachers supervisors paraprofessionals school aides secretaries parents and counselors. We are developing acceptable behavior which is courteous and values which show pride and empathy. Our vision is one of staff parents and community members working together to provide positive responsible models for our children. We believe all children can learn and that we as adults must support students in their quest for knowledge and fulfillment. We concentrate on improving Standards based reading and mathematics skills and continue to encourage our many non-English-speaking students to learn English.
