Aunt Martha's Early Learning Center

Our Early Learning Center (Head Start) program serves children age 3 4 from low-income families and provides the basic foundation of a positive attitude toward learning and place an early emphasis on the adoption of healthy habits.

The Early Learning Center offers full-day/full-year classes in bright, spacious classrooms. The benefits to families include:

Children grow educationally, socially, physically and emotionally Parents participate in their childs educational activities and development Parents relationship with their child is enriched Parents obtain needed services for their families

All sites serve children with diagnosed disabilities.

The minimum requirements for enrollment include:

Child must be 3 or 4 years old on or before August 31st. Family must meet federal income guidelines.

Classroom and home-based educational activities Nutritious meals and snacks Access to primary health care and dental services Vision, hearing, and speech screenings Family/parent support Monthly parent meetings Referrals for needed assistance Classroom-based volunteer opportunities
