Our center is licensed by the
Washington State Department of Early Learning. The center is staffed by a coordinator, one assistant,
teen parent’s, and other students who are enrolled in the Childcare course.
Purpose of the center: Childcare is provided so that you can attend school as you work
toward graduation and gain employability skills. Our hope is that you will also learn
the different developmental stages of the children and parenting skills while working in
this childcare center.

This center serves as a classroom for pregnant teens, teens, parents
and the general school population. The objective is that students learn and practice
parenting and childcare skills. Our goal is to establish an age appropriate, positive
environment that uses play and other activities to help your child to grow. We try to create a
setting that enhances the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development (P.I.E.S.)
of your child.
