The Little Garden Preschool

Our goal is to provide a safe supportive stimulating and happy environment for your child where he/she can learn and grow physically emotionally intellectually and socially at his/her own pace.
We believe children learn through play and benefit from a structured yet flexible schedule. Each day your child will be exposed to age-appropriate activities and learning centers designed to stimulate his/her creativity and curiosity and encourage the use of fine and gross motor skills listening skills language development and social interaction.
The curriculum includes the development of social skills such as communication trust building decision making problem solving and the development of self-expression and a strong self-image.
We have a mixed-age classroom combining 3 to 5 year olds. Research involving mixed-age interaction indicates that a variety of developmental and educational benefits can be obtained from such interaction. Older children are given the opportunity to be helpful and patient with their younger classmates which instills purpose and boosts self-esteem. Younger children benefit from the experience by being exposed to the behavior of their older classmates who offer intellectual stimulation leading to academic and social competence. The goal is to offer an environment that promotes an attitude of cooperation rather than competition. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only
