Brookville Center For Children's Services

The Brookville Center is responsible for the Leeds Child Development Center located in Manhasset. The Leeds Center started in 1989 with three children and in 2006 was enhanced to serve 160 children. It expanded to 12600 square feet with a new multifunctional art room a computer lab with the latest technologies and a gym/activity center with new physical education equipment for play and exercise. The expanded center also includes new safety and security measures such as security cameras throughout the building and emergency panic buttons in each room and secure lobby area at the entrance.

The Leeds Center is open to the community and includes integrated preschool classes. The Center serves infants 8 weeks through five years old with and without developmental disabilities. The Leeds Center also has financial scholarships available to those who qualify thanks to the generosity of the Leeds Family and Amy Hagedorn who generously donated funds for the scholarships. This facility is authorized to administer medications
