YMCA Christian Academy Of Louisville - English Station Program

The Y makes strengthening community our cause. Through our affordable child care programs we create a nurturing environment to engage children and help them develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives. Our licensed child care program is offered year-round, serving children in grades K-8.

All of our highly trained, hand picked staff are CPR and First Aid certified and receive extensive hours of training and professional development. We run background checks on all of our staff, so we know that we have the very best role models. Since safety is our priority,we make sure that we meet or exceed state staff-to-child ratios.

At the Y, we support and strengthen families by increasing a sense of community and sharing common values. We celebrate diversity by working together and supporting each other. We encourage learning about and caring for the environment and provide opportunities for community service projects.

HEALTHY LIVING: We give kids the opportunity to exert energy, discover who they are and what they can achieve and be accepted among each other. We help children learn to make healthy choices. Water is our drink of choice and our snacks include fresh fruits and vegetables and are monitored for sugar, fat grams, and calories from fat. Kids stay active at the Y with games, sports, and plenty of outdoor & indoor physical activity to encourage a healthy lifestyle.
