For almost 40 years, Creative Kids Learning Centers have been providing the highest quality child care and early education environment for children in the Las Vegas area. Our schools are proudly accredited by NECPA (National Early Childhood Programs Accreditation), having met more than 250 high-quality indicators in the areas of curriculum, student progress, health and safety, administration, teacher/child ratio, and parent and community involvement. “At Creative Kids, we’re inspired by the HighScope educational philosophy. Children’s interests and choices are the foundation of this approach. Our teachers challenge and expand children’s thinking with diverse materials and nurturing interactions. In all our programs, children engage in active learning—direct, hands-on experiences with people, materials, and ideas.
With the HighScope philosophy, there are four specific goals all children are working toward:
1. To learn through active involvement with people, materials, events, and ideas.
2. To become responsible and confident—ready for school and ready for life.
3. To learn to plan many of their own activities, carry them out, and talk with others about what they have done and what they have learned.
4. To gain knowledge and skills in important academic, social, and physical areas.
In order to meet these goals, children participate in a robust Plan-Do-Review process that promotes problem-solving and critical thinking skills. We provide a strong focus on early literacy, social understanding, physical coordination, creativity, and positive character traits.
Creative Kids also knows education is not a one-size-fits-all experience. That’s why we created the School Readiness Pathway, to provide parents with educational options and choices. The Pathway is designed to empower you to find the best path for your child.
