The Latchkey Center is unlike any other child care center before it. In addition to being unusual for its
uncommon structure of providing service for purely school-age children the ideas and philosophies
practiced within the center are truly original and very unique. Where most child care centers borrow
and expand their ideas and structure from our traditional school system The Latchkey Center takes
another approach by basing its ideas and structure from home life. More specifically our goal is to act
as a temporary supplement to the home. Therefore we believe in building your childs independence
and responsibility the same way you would at home. We believe in making your child a better student by
providing them with the same assistance that you would wish to provide at home. We believe in providing
your child with the same fun and enjoyment that you hoped they would experience at home. Lastly we
believe in providing a comfortable relaxing atmosphere similar to that of a home. With children being as
critical to our future as they are it is imperative that those of us within the industry work vigorously to
provide improved services.
