The East Shore Branch YMCA provides extensive services for youth teens adults families and seniors from the city and surrounding communities in a building constructed in another era. The renovation and expansion projects at the East Shore Branch focus on meeting the demands of the 21st century while preserving its history. In order to meet this objective the East Shore Branch experienced significant cost overruns during the renovation phase.
